A fluidized bed dryer (FBD) is well known and widely used for granulation process to attain desired moisture levels in the granules or powders required for the perfect compression of tablet formulations in pharmaceutical industry. Moisture content is removed by introducing heated and purified dry air through fluidized bed under negative pressure.
